Randomizer Core VRF is now Live on Base!
The most resilient VRF in web3 is live now on Coinbase's Layer 2: Base.
We're excited to share that Randomizer Core has been extended to Base - Coinbase’s bustling Layer 2 platform!
This comes in addition to our recent announcements of Randomizer Edge (a brand-new hybrid VRF protocol that’s powered by its own P2P network) and our deployment to the extremely low-cost Arbitrum Nova,
With projects like Friendtech gaining traction on Base and a surging user base, our integration ensures that web3 developers have access to the most robust VRF stack in the web3 domain, right there on Base.
How do I use Randomizer on Base?
It's straightforward! Simply refer to our documentation, which has all the details!
Randomizer lives on Base on the contract address 0xF45941DD5067F98D56ffA17651E13fa52Eeb8A37
You don’t need to do anything differently to integrate Randomizer on Base.
Why Base?
As Randomizer has become a primary choice for developers looking to deploy VRF-integrated projects on various chains, many requests came to our Discord for Randomizer on Base.
Simply put: you asked, we listened.
Randomizer Edge on Base
When ready, we'll also be bringing Randomizer Edge to Base, our P2P-powered VRF protocol which has a whopping 75% gas reduction compared to Core, without compromising on unpredictability.
If you want to prepare your contract that uses Core for a possible future integration of Edge, simply pack the id with Randomizer’s address on request and callback, and then use that as the id in your storage mappings. This way, when you update the Randomizer address, you will instantly get new unique IDs that don’t conflict with Core’s IDs.
With Randomizer now on Arbitrum One, Nova, zkSync Testnet, and Base, we're making strides in offering developers a flexible, cost-effective, and unpredictable VRF solution across multiple chains.
Your projects’ reach just got broader and the deployment, a lot simpler!
